Your raconteur has setup his wicked superduper phone to do blog posts! Had to, cos I’m in hospital…
I managed to pick up a rather terrible case of pneumonia before I came out to Seattle. (non-contagious!) I was laboring under the misconception that I was at the tail end of a case of the flu.
I’ve rarely, if ever, been so very wrong.
I’m going to be OK, it’s just going to take awhile.
There will be plenty of time to tell the tales, you know I got ‘em!
Right now, I got a round of IV antibiotics followed by a nap.

Just Lock It In & Rip The Knob Off!

Todd was staying with us Barbara and Ray Stevens in greenbelt Maryland since he left Amsterdam as a first Step toward a goal of going to Seattle to see his brother and see about living there, with plans for coming back and forth to Amsterdam. This “Waking Up in Amsterdam” post above describes how things were..( before he lost internet contact).
He didnt know he was “sick as hell…” but he was able to get in to the VA Hospital in Seattle pretty soon after he got off the plane there. Though Todd didnt post anywhere except the GPS coordinates from the ferry between Vashon and Seattle. But on the telephone he told me and also his girl friend here,Ellen, that he was staying with his cousin and her husband who live on Vashon Island near Seattle. His cousin who he had made contact with while he was in Greenbelt(we never heard her name). is a nurse and her husband was with the Navy ( I think) but now works for the Washington State Ferries. (“ferry”boats that run from the islands to Seattle). Todd on the phone told us that the plan was for him to stay there on Vashon for the month that he was suppose to lay low and recover after the hospital stay at the VA hospital. That month is about up.. He also said he was giving a lot of money to his brother. He said on the phone before the phone service ended that he did not have internet there on the island and was planning to move to Seattle – had a place ..it seems like Todd should get back in touch really soon …posted march 18 th St Patrict Hangover Day…..2010
